Leadership in the 21st century

Oversight, responsibility and vision can be a powerful combination for any individual. We give managers expert guidance to enable their teams to be effective and thrive.

Career progression brings excitement, fulfilment and rewards in equal measure. We give our people all the support they need to rise up, through our business unit leader courses.

 

Duration: 12 months

Our leadership programme is designed to grow people into senior leadership positions or prepare them to become an MD of one of our businesses. The course attracts the Group’s best and the brightest, so competition is high to get a sought-after place.

Course modules are facilitated by Directors, Group Leaders and MDs who share their experience and best practice in a safe environment. We couple this with external facilitators who focus on blending business with people skills, i.e. getting the management balance right.

Modules cover all aspects of running a business, including: Finance Bootcamp, Leading Developers, the Jonas Playbook, Strategic Leadership and Legal & Compliance. In addition, delegates are asked to get involved with real life projects in businesses as a way to develop their skills and knowledge.

 

Jonas Europe is a firm believer in allowing employees access to new opportunities and to embark on new career roles that might not otherwise be available to them. That’s why we’ve introduced apprenticeships for upskilling.

In partnership with Activate Business School and Grant Thornton, we run an Aspiring Managers Programme for Team Leaders and Managers. Courses are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management and fully funded through our Apprenticeship Levy.

 

Duration: 2 day conference, held twice annually

A residential conference for senior managers and business leaders within Jonas Europe, to explore our Best Practices playbook and assess how this can be used to improve your business.

The workshop-style event focus switches regularly to allow business leaders and management to continually learn and develop their approach to new and ongoing challenges and opportunities. By learning from one another, delegates share first-hand experience of transferrable solutions to common challenges.

Throughout the conference, delegates get the opportunity to work with colleagues in their own business as well as functionally across other businesses within our Group.
